My path to becoming a psychotherapist was informed by 20 years in the creative industries. This background gives me a grounded, real-world perspective on the pressures of modern life, the complexities of professional identity, and the reality of burnout.
I chose to specialise in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy because it doesn’t just look at ‘fixing’ symptoms; it looks at the whole person. I am particularly drawn to working where life feels most complex—supporting those navigating the unique grief of suicide loss, the quiet trauma of parental estrangement, and the existential weight of the climate crisis.
Training & Qualifications
Professional Background I have provided long-term and high-intensity therapy across several renowned London and Essex clinics:
I am an Accredited Member of the UKCP and a Registered Member of the BACP.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on Psychodynamic, CBT, and Existential frameworks. However, I believe that for deep-seated trauma or world-altering grief, words alone aren’t always enough. I offer a creative container where we can use dreamwork, visualisation, sandtray, and inner-child work to access the parts of your experience that feel ‘unspoken.’
If you’re interested in this way of working or have any questions, please contact me using the contact page on this website.
I also offer free mentoring for those considering psychotherapy training. I can help demystify the process and guide you through the early stages. Please contact me via the contact page.
Occasionally, I run a workshop on the climate crisis, exploring how cultivating balance within ourselves can help us be of better service to the planet. Check the relevant page on this website for upcoming dates and details.
